Process

I initially spoke with recruiters at a career fair at my university. I hit it off with one of the recruiters, and she took my information. I then applied for an on-campus interview through my school's career center.

The on-campus interview was a 45-minute session. I spoke with the recruiter about technology and programming in general. He also asked some standard behavioral questions. I received an email about an hour after the on-campus interview inviting me to second rounds in Richmond.

The Richmond interview had three parts:

  • Behavioral
  • Case interview
  • Job fit (technical interview)

It was a fairly standard technical interview for Software Engineering positions. The case interview was more business-based, involving scenarios, calculations, and recommendations. The behavioral portion was also fairly standard, with questions like, "Tell me about a project when..."

Questions

Nothing too terrible. I was a bit thrown off by the way the Case Interviewer started asking questions. Once I understood what she was actually asking, it wasn't a difficult case to analyze. Overall, I felt fairly average throughout the interview – not great, not terrible. I got a call two days later with an offer.
