Software Engineer (Internship) Interview Experience

Process

I heard back after about a month of applying.

There was one final interview that consisted of three back-to-back rounds: behavioral, case, and coding.

The overall interview was easy and manageable. It mostly involved LeetCode Easy/Medium questions, and it could be random, pulling from any LeetCode tagged questions.

I passed all rounds but did not receive an offer.

My recommendation is to practice interviewing virtually, like walking people through your code, and to not get nervous.

Questions

Technical:

  • Implementing a stack.
  • String manipulation.
  • Finding a missing number.

Case:

A bunch of if statements to find the condition using a truth table.

Behavior:

  • Explaining concepts to a non-technical person.
  • Discussing projects.
  • Learning something new.
