A self-hyped recruiting process where recruiters pitch the process as something extraordinary, placing themselves on a pedestal. You will get to talk to the recruiters just once.
It is a full-day interview, and you talk to many. A surprise to me was that most did not have my resume. There were various behavioral topics that I found ridiculous.
Then comes the tech-fit, where someone asks you specific technical questions based on their experience. Unfortunately, most of the technical questions were from outdated technology or so specific that they would be out-of-date in about a month. One interviewer did not even show up on time.
In the end, I did not make it; that's fine, no issues. But the recruiter did not have the courtesy to call and give the result straight. Instead, you get a machine-generated email thanking you for your time, stating they found another person.
Maybe here is a suggestion: send a bot to answer the interview.
Tell me a situation...
How did you deal with it?
