The people here are not only smart but are great to work with. I've only had positive experiences working with others and asking for help. The work-life balance is pretty laid back and doesn't require you to put in an extreme amount of hours very often.
Because it's not a tech company along the lines of Google, Facebook, etc., you don't really see the bleeding edge of technology always being built or used.
It happens, but if you want a constant stream of new projects and problems, this might not be the place to do that.
