Cons

This might just be my experience as a TDP. But in the short 2 years I've been here, I've had 6 managers and 4 different teams.

Although in the TDP, they say that you'll have one rotation, they don't mention that reorgs happen often. Meaning, if you're unlucky, you can get placed on a team/project you don't want.

Your career and performance gets docked because you'll have to learn to adjust to the new project and your new manager will need to get to know you. Also, you'll get pulled onto a team because you're needed for a deliverable – no choice involved.

Advice to Management

Consider management changes in regard to performance and promotions.
