Pros

Capital One is reasonably supportive of their Associates as long as they are interested in retaining them. While there are opportunities to make innovative contributions, things do not always seem to be under control. They are not afraid to risk significant time and expense experimenting with ideas which ultimately may never be used.

Cons

Rapid changes, due to experimenting with new ideas, technologies, process management, and business priorities, etc., can lead to frequent re-organizations, shifts in managers, teams, responsibilities, job titles, and job duties, etc., which can make their complex performance management process subjective and unpredictable.

Advice to Management

Continue to be up-front and transparent with Associates to remind them that Capital One does not owe anyone a job and will make decisions accordingly.
