Pros

Benefits are great. Competitive pay. Facilities and hardware provided are amazing when not overcrowded.

Cons

Hybrid/RTO is becoming a mandate. Associates received attendance warning emails at the beginning of the year. The NYC office is extremely packed.

I’ve gone through a lot of managers recently, and it has affected my reviews. This introduced a lot of instability, so leaving the org or the company altogether may be considered.

Not a lot of growth unless you move teams internally.

Advice to Management

After mid-year layoffs/terminations in 2023, it is clear Capital One is leaning into grading their employees very aggressively at year-end.

I recommend you look toward your management instead.
