Too much pressure. Incentivized to pump out new projects, not to fix current/broken products. The environment is super cutthroat. Too many changes in management (3 within the first 6 months). Depending on your LOB, it can be stressful or relaxed. Too many criteria for being considered strong in a performance review: aside from doing well in your job, they also want you to participate in competitions (hackathons), volunteer your time, and constantly take courses to advance yourself. There is no mobility into LOB or job paths that you are interested in.
Do better. Be clear about objectives and goals for employees. Don't assume someone has ownership unless it's confirmed (speaking from personal experience).
