Pros

All-star designers, all-star creatives, great products. Contractors don't work more than 40 hours per week. The cafeteria is good company-wide. Swag. Generous pay.

Cons

Contractors can't use the gym, health center, and a number of other perks.

An agile atmosphere breaks up teams right about when they start working well together.

Contractors do not get paid on bank holidays and are required to take the weeks of Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving off. Benefits handled through the contracting firm.

Advice to Management

Try to make contracting a 6-month decision. Unfortunately, as time accrues, I developed a false sense of job security.
