The compensation is pretty good. It's hard to find comparable outside of FAANG-like companies.
The culture around "performance management" is terrible. Review cycles are twice a year and take a few months each time. The stakes are high because they often enforce a 15% distribution, which means 15% of each title is required to be rated "below strong," which automatically results in a PIP. So, basically, for like 40% of the year, you are worried about your job. Absolutely kills morale.
Also, there are so many internal compliance requirements that there's almost no time left to work on actual feature development.
It almost feels like they want to hire people. Almost... I applied last year to the same position and they asked me the same questions as one year ago. The interviews felt like they were trying to change initial conditions, always, but not in a way
Power Day Round: 1. System Design: Design a credit card portal. 2. Coding Round: Sample banking application. 3. Case Study: VCN pros and cons. 4. Behavioral.
Initial recruiter call. There was an online assessment followed by a power day, which consists of 4 rounds: * Behavioral * LeetCode * System design * Code review Then team matching happens.
