Very high requirements for the managerial position
- Modern stack of technologies, good to gain experience here.
- Last year, they had some fully remote positions; not sure about this year.
- Big company, easy to switch jobs within the company and grow.
- Attempts to create a good working environment and corporate culture.
- My experience: too high expectations from a new manager. It was almost impossible to meet those expectations if you're new to Capital One and to the team.
- Don't pay as much as FAANG and startups.
- Sometimes had to work in the evening for migrations and respond to alerts at night or on weekends.
