The company really seems to care about employees. They offer a lot of perks for families and allow you to be really autonomous. They have a goal of being a tech company first and a bank second.
Middle management is not great. There is a lot of bureaucracy and unhealthy competition between tech teams.
There is a culture of siloed work where Product is in one silo, Engineering another, and Design another. It generally doesn't work and creates huge disparities in goals.
There is constant re-orging in the SF office, and it is difficult to hang on to good talent because middle management can't agree on a trajectory.
Stop re-orging.
Get rid of the promotion cycle thing (at least in the SF office) and for gods sake, get rid of the stack ranking.

30 min quick call. Technical round of LeetCode-type questions. Unfortunately, it ended there as I didn't pass that round. Presumably, it was going to be system design after this online LeetCode question, and then onsite.
Applied on their career site and was reached out to by the recruiter over email and phone. First round was a 70-minute proctored CodeSignal assessment. The last round consisted of two parts, spread across two days: * The first part was a 1-hour
