Pros

The company takes excellent care of their full-time employees, offering:

  • Good benefits
  • Freedom to fail fast and experiment
  • Openness to new ideas
  • Changes very fast (this can also be a con depending on how you deal with change)
  • Proactive training
  • Opportunities to attend in-house conferences with industry leaders
  • Great facilities and offices.
Cons

Life at the company is very fast-paced, almost hectic sometimes (granted, depending on the role), and change happens so quickly that it can require some fancy footwork to keep up.

The company also tends to function in cycles where they will hire many new employees and, 6-12 months later, let a large group go. It's a good place to be if you can keep on top of change and avoid the layoff cycles.

Advice to Management

Simplify the annual review process. Frankly, it's painful and keeps management tied up for weeks, if not months. Encourage fewer meetings and reduce redundant governance and approval processes.
