Depends on the team, but most teams are pretty nice and have a good, healthy culture and atmosphere. Pay is generally pretty competitive.
Either get into a TDP or other development program, or join already as a manager/tech lead level employee. They get treated pretty fairly.
That level in between, you will get shortchanged compared to all the other associates in the development program. They will get paid more than you, get a lot more money put towards them as far as work events and opportunities, and they will probably already have a head start compared to you in many aspects of the business.
Promotions are rare, and you need to go above and beyond to get one.
