You could work here for the rest of your life.
This place is absolute garbage. The culture is unbelievably toxic. People stopped addressing me in the third person and just started addressing me in the second person, e.g., "You will work 22 hours tomorrow" or "you will work 14 hours every Saturday for the next 6 months, with no possibility of vacation".
The work-life balance is nonexistent to say the least. I was promised I would be a software engineer and get to do what I love, but instead I'm just a janitor to work through these terrible internal processes and tools that are poorly defined and don't work 90% of the time. Literally everything I'm told to do is high-priority fire drills that need to be resolved yesterday.
This has been a complete waste of my life and is nothing but a red mark on my resume. I'm getting a raise with my next job, and Cap 1 is even taking back my sign-on bonus, so monetarily there's no reason to work here.
It was a good experience. Starting from the HR recruiter call, then the star power day interview. After the interview, they said they would take me for another software engineer position, but later, I did not get any response from them.
Extreme tribalism and protectionism. The interviewer played with his phone and worked on his own thing. Having been on both sides of these types of technical interviews, this is one of the worst experiences that I have ever seen.
Call from recruiter Coding challenge: * Got the first two questions entirely correct. * Skipped the third. * Got the fourth question correct, but it wasn't efficient enough for full credit. * Ended with a 740 score. Power Day: * Very easy coding qu
