There is a lot of diversity in the company, but there are some really bad racist managers who pass comments, exploit, and treat their employees horribly. It seems this is acceptable behavior within the company, as these people have been with the company for 10-20 years in some cases. It leads to low morale, depression, and can turn your life into hell.
A hyper-aggressive work environment and bullying by these managers are never heard of anywhere in the IT or banking industry.
A brutal review process where managers have to fight each other. The one who beats others in this fight gets a good review about their employee. It doesn't matter how hard you worked or what great thing you achieved; it all boils down to the teams you work with, how well your manager can fight them during the review process, and the political equations.
A politically charged environment where teams gang up against other teams or persons.
Age-based discrimination.
Medical insurance is not up to the mark, and you pay a lot of money out of pocket during visits. Dental insurance is worse.
It is painful to see these kinds of things happening to a good company that talks big about associates, integrity, and values, but is so out of touch that it doesn't know what is happening at the ground level to the associates.
Please get down from your high horse and see how these managers are exploiting the employees.
Create a monthly survey for employees to review their manager and his boss as well on topics from racism to honesty. I wouldn't be surprised if some day the company gets sued for racism; it's better to be proactive.
Improve the review process. It is not a bell curve but a dogfight that creates animosity between teams and creates a political environment. No other company does it this way except some really bad ones.
It was a good experience. Starting from the HR recruiter call, then the star power day interview. After the interview, they said they would take me for another software engineer position, but later, I did not get any response from them.
Extreme tribalism and protectionism. The interviewer played with his phone and worked on his own thing. Having been on both sides of these types of technical interviews, this is one of the worst experiences that I have ever seen.
Call from recruiter Coding challenge: * Got the first two questions entirely correct. * Skipped the third. * Got the fourth question correct, but it wasn't efficient enough for full credit. * Ended with a 740 score. Power Day: * Very easy coding qu
