There are plenty of other reviews that go into detail about why you shouldn’t work at Capital One, so I would recommend reading those.
In short, performance management is a joke, and ~15% of the company is laid off every 6 months. Management makes decisions that consistently go against what the employees want.
In general, it's just a very toxic environment with too much politics for the compensation. It’s like they want to be Amazon, while paying employees half of what Amazon does.
