In general, everybody is extremely nice and willing to help out fellow employees. Depending on the org, you will have a lot of visibility, ability to develop, and take ownership.
Some orgs have developed a very Amazon-like culture. Vibes are bad, management isn't the most transparent, and it can be cut-throat.
Improve transparency, listen to engineers and their opinions before making huge shifts in the roadmap.
