Cons

Performance management is an ever-evolving mess. Lots of one-size-fits-all internal platforms exist, which keep everything from breaking but often make trivial work a grind.

Advice to Management

You could probably get rid of half of mid-level leadership, and nobody would notice. High-performing leaders are clearly incentivized to push enterprise initiatives with no regard for the amount of tech debt they create in the process.
