- Good WLB. Depending on your team, you will not have to work more than 40 hours a week (if that).
- Decent benefits.
- Toxic company culture. Very "bro" centric; hard to fit in if you're not a highly represented group in tech.
- Stack rankings force PIPs and create a culture of sucking up. Contributions only matter if your project is important.
- Management is generally terrible. I've been on two teams and in both cases my people leaders were idiots.
C1 is a laughing stock in the tech world, a PIP factory, and a place to coast.
It's no wonder you don't get top talent anymore.
Try reconsidering your company culture and norms.
And stop pretending like you care about diversity; we all know it's a lie.
