Good work/life balance, good work location, great separation benefits. It tries to practice what it preaches with regard to company values; that is, it is more ethical than most banks.
A decision was made to replace traditional QA with full-stack engineers, but funds for retraining were refused. This resulted in a lot of product knowledge being lost. They are not sure what they want to be in San Francisco. There are many layers of management. The home office is out of touch – the CEO doesn't even visit San Francisco.
The CEO is a great speaker and presents a clear vision, but the admirals are not steering the ship in the direction that he says it is headed.
