Exciting projects to work on
Capital One has one of the worst work environments I’ve ever experienced. There is zero work-life balance, with constant demands to work weekends and handle multiple projects at once.
Being overloaded with 10 tickets per sprint, without any help from teammates, is the norm here. The so-called "teamwork" is non-existent, and you’re left to fend for yourself in a toxic, cutthroat atmosphere.
The leadership, especially under Indian managers, is outright abusive. They have no regard for employee well-being, only caring about squeezing as much work as possible out of you.
No matter how many times employees express burnout and distrust in leadership, nothing changes. The empty promises of “improvement” are laughable, and the only pathetic gesture we get is a free lunch.
To make matters worse, they push this ridiculous obsession with getting face time with upper management, making things even more stressful for those in remote or smaller offices.
Stop pretending to care about employee well-being and actually do something.
You’re driving people to burnout with your toxic management style.
Improve work conditions, stop overloading your employees, and create a supportive, collaborative environment—or don’t expect things to get any better.
Easy, one case, one behavioral, one technical interview. By far the easiest interview I ever had. Normal behavioral questions, and for the case, just think from a business standpoint. Prep LeetCode Easy for the technical.
Easy. Four rounds. 1. Behavioral. 2. Coding. 3. A “technical business” discussion. 4. A system design round based on resume and experience. Interviewers were nice and fair. The recruiter was very pushy and didn’t give me time to decide on the offer
Very positive. There was first a test you have to do, but if you practice LeetCode, it should be pretty smooth. I would recommend studying, as some of the questions towards the end were confusing if not studied ahead of time.
