Cons

Bell curve for performance management.

Managers don't know benchmarks for performance until we're in that session. Benchmarks are determined for each individual session, meaning there is a lack of consistency.

Understaffed teams, many with 1-3 people, depending on your business area. It is nearly impossible to adequately provide support and do feature development with 2 people.

Advice to Management

It is difficult to meet benchmarks for more senior levels when you are understaffed. Hire to fill out the teams so that we can meet OKRs and allow for proper growth.

Also, leadership says that they've "looked at" other performance management systems because nobody likes the current one. However, when asked, not even the VP+ population seems to be able to state what systems were looked at and/or why they were rejected.
