Pros

Pay is on the higher end of the spectrum.

Cons

No work-life balance, even though you will hear that a lot.

You are compared against everyone within the same organization as you, even if they are doing different jobs. So, at whatever level you are, be prepared to be rated against everyone at that level. You could find yourself at the bottom based on your job functions. Capital One then loves to put you on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). Once you are on that, you will basically be let go because they make it impossible to get off it.

Advice to Management

Maybe hire managers that actually care for their teams and who know how to people manage.

They will put anyone into management; they might be very technical but have no skills on how to manage people, and by doing that, it is a huge disadvantage to the associates.
