Some really talented people work at C1. The company is very forward-facing and willing to make investments that take (sometimes) years to pay off.
There are lots of chances for advancement. If you're willing to network, there are lots of chances to move around and work on interesting projects.
Internal politics are really strange at times, with folks staking out technical positions that seem purist and are likely driven by career optimizing rather than solving problems for customers.
A lot of productivity theater as well, with teams doing redundant work. I'm sure this happens in most large companies, but it seemed more frequent at C1.
Product management was either brilliant or terrible, not really consistent from team to team. It's been a few years, so this may have improved.
Bonus and incentives structures seemed to cause a lot of churn and fueled some of the above behavior.
