I had an initial call with the recruiter, followed by a call with the hiring manager, where he told me more about the position and team. Then, I had a coding screen over Zoom. The total process took about 3 weeks.
I was asked to refactor some existing code.
The Zoom call was with two engineers: one who was late and had obviously just woken up, and another who was shadowing. The main interviewer was very unhelpful during the call and had pretty bad communication skills, so I had to really probe him to get answers to my questions.
I received an email a few days later saying they were moving forward...
