Most of my team was based out of the US, so I mainly worked remotely, even though I would go into the office (Waterloo).
It was a chill conversation about how to improve an OOP product. It was more like how to design a system using OOP in Python. The panel was very nice and it was a flowing conversation.
Some basic behavioral questions about my background were asked before moving onto a coding challenge. I was given 20 minutes to look over a mock frontend application to locate bugs and then explain how I might address/fix them.
Recruitment reached out via LinkedIn, and a standard set of questions followed. Next, I went for a "virtual onsite" where several groups joined the Zoom room and asked theme-based questions. The interview lasted approximately six hours, with breaks
