The people are friendly. The job is remote.
I don’t know where to begin… this company raised a lot of money and has wildly ambitious goals. Together, these would be a very exciting opportunity, which is the reason I took the offer.
But they ran before they could walk and are now in a deep hole. They do not want to slow down enough to get themselves out of this hole because they are aiming to expand rapidly.
Everyone is extraordinarily busy and perpetually stressed. While management says we have to slow down at some point, they don’t take any action to do so.
Onboarding is the worst I’ve ever seen. You are expected to start contributing before you actually understand the product.
I thought I made a good career move when I joined and now completely regret coming here.
