I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week.
Most bizarre interview I have ever done. The HR spent about 5 mins challenging me why I didn't register my real name for the email I used to apply for this job and even further doubted why I didn't use my real name for my email. What the heck do these questions have to do with the interview itself other than poking into the privacy of a personal email?
But this HR didn't stop poking into privacy and went thousands of miles further. When I talked about my experiences with the crypto world, he explicitly asked me to name the specific investment platforms I used to do crypto trading. While I was disinclined to answer these questions, he started asking which specific wallets I used for custody and even literally asked me, "Where are you transferring your digital assets from the current wallet?"
Tbh, if this were not happening in an interview setting, it would definitely be treated as fraud. I don't know why this HR has no respect for a candidate's privacy and keeps stalking personal financial info as well as the reason why I named my personal email. If you want to verify my personal experiences, you can ask more detailed and deep questions related to the crypto world and ecosystem instead of consistently poking into candidates' privacies, even including their personal financial info.
You're transferring your digital assets from which wallet to which one?
