Applied online and then received feedback to come in for a screening. I then had a second stage interview with an engineering manager, which lasted for an hour. They asked questions around my latest project, diving into the approaches I took and also discussing different approaches I could have taken, including the pros and cons of each.
The next stage was a live coding interview that lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I thought it was a fair approach to judging someone's coding skills. It wasn't some silly LeetCode test, but rather tested correct engineering practices while coding, followed by some technical questions.
The next stage is a system design interview for 1 hour.
Overall, it was a positive and fast process. They provided feedback very quickly and kept me in the loop.
Some may think the process is difficult, but I'd say it's only difficult if you don't know what you're talking about and are just trying to blab your way through. I'd rate the difficulty as average because they do like to probe and discuss different approaches, which can become challenging, but I really liked that aspect.
