Pros
  • Lunch was provided with lots of snacks.
  • Good toilet facilities with changing rooms.
  • Benefits such as opticians, medical care, and Carrot.
  • Up-to-date tech stack.
Cons
  • Little to no guidance or leadership from management.
  • Very much an exclusive 'clique' within the EE department, which results in nepotism.
  • Expected to go into the office frequently with no flexibility and keeping tabs on it.
  • Very little cross-team collaboration.
  • No progression available for internal employees.
  • Be expected to exceed your workload on a daily basis.
  • Higher management doesn't take action when problems are raised; they get sugar-coated and swept under the rug.
Advice to Management

Train and check in on managers.

Take feedback forms seriously and implement changes, or your staff turnover will continue to be sky-high.

Offer personal development, such as courses that aid our role in the company.
