Healthy, macro-counted lunch provided. Snacks and drinks provided. Uses Slack for communication. Lots of active communities to join and be part of. Always a lot of events going on. Tech is new and updated. Very fast-paced.
The work is unrelenting.
Pay is below market. They claim that this is so because the food provided in the office makes up for this, which is debatable.
A lot of the current senior management are employees who have been at Checkout for years, and not necessarily because they earned their roles.
Stop promoting managers until you get a comprehensive overview from all the people they currently manage.
Managers shouldn’t be promoted to senior managers unless their managed employees also put them forward for promotion.
