Employees are mostly treated as a headcount. It does not matter what their views, opinions, or goals are. There is not a lot of feedback from the bottom up.
Managerial level is a big, big, big letdown. It is very common to see friends of senior leaders or people with some influence get promoted. It does not matter if the person has the necessary skills or background to get the job done. This leads to a lot of frustration.
