The interview process began with a phone screen with the hiring manager, followed by a phone screen with an iOS engineer. This was then followed by a virtual onsite interview with four individuals: two iOS developers, one product manager, and the hiring manager.
I was not offered the position, and it appears they cannot provide interview feedback. I rate interviewers who are unable to give feedback as absolutely terrible. This indicates they either do not know what they want from a candidate or are not capable enough to judge candidates.
I enjoyed the interview, as it was one of the best I had ever had. However, I did not realize that these interviewers were terrible individuals who did not know what they wanted. They should have provided feedback if they had a reason to reject me.
I am a good engineer at my current company. I suggest firing these individuals who are unable to give feedback on a candidate's performance. I wasted a full day of my time with these terrible people.
I would never apply to this company again and do not recommend others to apply. This position has been open for at least three months, and as far as I know, they have been rejecting all candidates without giving proper interview feedback. This indicates they do not know what they want from a candidate.
