Software Development Manager Interview Experience - United States

Process

The interview process took four months.

There were times recruiters told me they never received my email, or that their email must have gotten stuck in their outbox. I had to set aside time on multiple days, only to never have an interview.

The interview process included:

  • One phone screening.
  • One initial interview. If that went well, you moved on to a four-hour interview with multiple other directors and managers.
  • If your first interview was okay, you would have another one-on-one interview before the four-hour interviews.

Overall, I found the experience frustrating and unprofessional. I spent months interviewing with them, and they never shared any feedback or reasons as to why I didn't meet their requirements. They do not respect applicants' time.
