Process

I applied on LinkedIn. My first round was a recruiter call. She asked me some typical questions about my experience.

Next, a Senior Engineer conducted a live HackerRank session. It involved a LeetCode medium array problem.

One week later, my recruiter called to schedule the final round.

This was a panel interview consisting of three technical rounds and one behavioral interview with my would-be manager.

The behavioral interview included questions about my resume and "tell me about a time" scenarios.

Two of the technical rounds involved LeetCode medium/easy problems, with a few vocabulary questions about Java and Spring. The coding questions presented another array problem and a binary search tree problem.

The fourth interview was frontend-focused. This meant implementing a class using JavaScript and using async/await to consume an API and perform calculations. I struggled a bit with this round as I primarily work on the backend, but my interviewers allowed me to look up documentation, and I ultimately solved the problem.

The following week, I received an offer.

Overall, if you can solve the Blind 75 LeetCode problems and understand the fundamentals of the stack you will be working with, you should be fine.
