Most middle managers are flexible and willing to experiment, but the ones that are not flexible have all the inertia of a cruise ship.
Some parts of the tech stack are unnecessarily dependent on a really clever idea that got someone promoted six years ago.
These cons are kind of present in every tech company on the planet, though, so I'd say by and large Chewy's a great place to be.
