Good work environment, sub-par pay and growth opportunities
The company seems genuine about inclusiveness and provides a relatively safe work environment, along with support for growth and mentorship for junior employees. The vast majority of employees are friendly and helpful, and recognize when you go above and beyond. The development environment and workflow is superb.
The pay is mediocre, and performance reviews can be surprising because feedback from management is lackluster. The company puts a lot of time into gathering feedback and hearing about problem areas, but fails to follow through on improving much at all. This seems like a place where talented developers are always on their way out the door.
