This experience occurred during the on-campus recruitment process.
The recruitment process consisted of an online test with two sections.
The first section had three questions: one SQL query and two testing file manipulation skills.
The second section offered two questions, from which students had to attempt one. This section focused on competitive coding.
The interview process was unorganized and unethically conducted.
First, a list of 30 shortlisted students was released, followed by an additional list of 15 students.
Subsequently, approximately 30 students were laid off without even the first interview round. No reasons were justified.
I don't remember the exact question, but the basic statement was:
There is a door with an equal number of horizontal and vertical bars, numbered from 1 to n. As input, there will be arrays V[] and H[], which contain numbers representing the bar missing from the vertical and horizontal sets, respectively. The index i ranges from 0 to n.
You have to calculate the largest gap in the matrix.
