It couldn't get any worse. I received a call from Cloudera HR for a telephonic interview. The HR was on leave, and nobody notified me regarding the rescheduling of the interview.
I called HR, and the response was, "I am on leave but can take this call for 5 minutes, which included introductions, technologies, and projects I worked on." I was told I would receive an email to schedule another call with the technical panel (which I never did) and later received an email mentioning I am no longer considered for this position.
The experience left me frustrated without any genuine reason and doubting my own abilities, as I was never rejected on an introductory call. I would recommend not applying for any position at Cloudera. Their HR is egoistic and not at all professional.
Not Applicable, since the HR and tech panels were out of sync.
