No learning from the existing tech stack makes it hard to progress. The product is an old monolith that is difficult to scale unless redesigned. Increments are poor, sometimes almost non-existent. You solve 20 JIRA tickets in parallel instead of solving meaningful problems or designing systems. There are too many ad hoc tasks and too many releases to track. There is less coding and more management, meetings, and repeated discussions. Everyday burnout is common, even if you work 9-5.
Decrease the complexity of releases by making the product compatible for multiple cases. Emphasize an engineer's learning and make it more humane. Not everything is to be solved in parallel with five others. Prioritize things that increase Dev efficiency. HIGH TIME.
I had 4 interviews altogether. An HR interview, an online coding and technical assessment, a system design interview, and one managerial interview. The technical interviews were held in English. Interviewers were nice and helpful.
