Caveat: I am a current employee of Cloudera and I work remotely.
As part of the product team, the work is very challenging, and I feel like I am learning a lot. The people here are very understanding and are more than willing to work with you to bring you up to speed. I work remotely; the work-life balance is fantastic, and as long as you get your work done and you let people know ahead of time if you have anything crop up, things tend to be okay.
You will be challenged here, but I very much consider this a good thing. There is a lot of room for growth and learning from some of the smartest people in the industry.
Benefits are so-so: no 401k matching, and decent health benefits.
Sometimes conflicting messages from my leads can confuse things, but these are typically resolved without a ton of issue.
As a remote employee, communication can be challenging. This is a two-way street, however.
Keep it up. It's great here!

The test had 3 coding questions: * 2 DSA * 1 SQL Ranging from moderate to hard level. The time limit was 75 minutes. SQL question: From the given table named `product`, with columns `product_id` and `price`, find the second highest price product.
Very good interview, they sent materials about what to expect. There was a coding round online. There were competition-grade algorithm problems. Then there was a design and a coding round personally.
