Top-level management are technical guys, but more importantly, Arun and the leadership team care about their employees, which is generally missing in similarly sized companies.
There's an overall employee-friendly atmosphere, be it WFH or cab flexibility.
Perks were better when it was Hortonworks.
Technology, even though legacy and licensed in the cloud world, has a very slow overall development and release process because of tight integration with open-source projects.
Top-level management is good compared to other similar-sized companies, but middle management needs to be revamped. This is difficult since there is no method of feedback for middle-level managers, and they try to run the show unilaterally.
