This was a very unprofessional hiring process.
The hiring manager initially sent an email for an introductory call and provided a calendar link to fill in availability. After that, there was no response. Suddenly, another email arrived from the hiring manager asking if I was available on a specific date and time. This made me question the purpose of initially asking for my availability.
Following this, a call with a team member was scheduled. This call, which was intended to be 45 minutes long, started 5 minutes late. The interviewer asked questions based on my experience and requested comparisons (for example, comparing Ubuntu and CentOS).
I thought the process had gone well. However, when I followed up via email to inquire about the next steps, I received a standard rejection template.
At the very least, please treat your candidates with some respect.
