I had a great experience until I met one of the product managers and had to interview while my son was at home.

I answered all his questions, and the interview was going well until my son entered the room and talked to me during the interview (there was no school that day).

After that, I could see he stopped showing interest in me, no matter what I said.

A few days later, I received a rejection email.

I asked the hiring manager for feedback, as the interviews had gone well until then, but I didn't receive any answer from him or anyone from the company.

Thinking in retrospect, it was better that way, given they probably vetted me when they saw I am a mom.

It's sad that "bro culture" companies like this still exist.

It was mostly a conversation about my previous experience and behavioral questions.
