Pros: I loved our team collaboration and working remote once I got used to it. It's a good jumping point if you want to be in the crypto industry.

Cons: Our whole team was let go a few weeks before Thanksgiving. It takes a special level of jerk to fire people right before the holidays, especially when execs had said no more layoffs so we stopped job hunting. The manager was completely inappropriate. He got reported to HR multiple times, but nothing ever happened. People stopped saying anything so they wouldn't become targets if it got back to him. Getting promoted and year-end reviews are very political, not skill-based. Everyone gets a 3 out of 5 rating unless your manager is willing to fight for you.

Pros: Great pay and remote work

Cons: Can be political and slow-paced (depending on the team). Growth can be very team-dependent.

Pros: Great office (both location and environment) Talented engineers Frat bro culture

Cons: Weak business co-founder/business leadership drags down the rest of the team. Can't retain executive hires. Anyone director level and above is fired or quits within months, usually due to the same business founder and stalling company growth. Chief compliance officer, director of security, VP of biz dev...they're all gone. Bro culture. Immature founders. Don't work here if you have a family/kids, or any chance of getting sick – they won't care or understand. You're just a cog in the machine. Zero room for career growth. Bring your A-game and execute. Don't expect to learn new things; it will delay the ship date. Startup = growth, but this company is declining. Lots of runway so opportunity to pivot, but make no mistake: this is NOT a rocketship or high-growth environment, at least not now.
