Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

Their recruiting people don't seem to be able to keep track of what is going on, resulting in me showing up at the wrong address, not having the people I was supposed to talk to present, surprising me on the day by being pigeonholed into interviewing with developers for a completely unexpected role, and arranging phone interviews with someone other than I thought I was going to talk to.

Effectively, there was no follow-up from interviews. Then, after a while, I'm contacted by another recruiter from the same company who has no idea I've already spoken to them.

I have no idea if, for some reason, they hated me (guys, if that's the case, at least manage a polite 'Dear John' response), or they are sucking as badly at recruiting as they are at customer support and PR right now.
