I loved our team collaboration and working remote once I got used to it. It's a good jumping point if you want to be in the crypto industry.
Our whole team was let go a few weeks before Thanksgiving. It takes a special level of jerk to fire people right before the holidays, especially when execs had said no more layoffs so we stopped job hunting.
The manager was completely inappropriate. He got reported to HR multiple times, but nothing ever happened. People stopped saying anything so they wouldn't become targets if it got back to him.
Getting promoted and year-end reviews are very political, not skill-based. Everyone gets a 3 out of 5 rating unless your manager is willing to fight for you.
Be better. Layoffs in November show that you don't care about your employees at all, despite the talking points.
