Pros
  • Many talented people
  • Remote work and good pay
Cons

The exec team is very disconnected. The latest example is the CPO trying to tell employees that 40 hours per week is not enough, when most of them are working 55+ hours.

Coworkers have reported that early employees with lots of equity received suspiciously bad reviews. It looks like leadership is making a move against early employees who made the company.

Work-life balance is nonexistent. Work hours are from 8 AM to 1 AM in terms of expected response time on Slack. Saturdays are mostly free, but the week starts on Sunday at 5 PM.

Everyone is always scared of losing their job and preparing for it. This blocks innovation.

Advice to Management

Stop trying to chase every trend in crypto by asking people to work 80 hours a week. Stop looking up to Amazon or expecting the average tenure to be less than 2 years.
