How did I apply?
I applied on the company's job portal, directed via LinkedIn. A couple of days later, I got a call from the recruitment team. Salary was a bit of a concern for them, as all the components in my salary were fixed. This factor didn't stop them from going ahead with the process, and they sent my profile for shortlisting.
How was the interview process?
Long story short, after clearing my written test, they dragged me for a month to schedule my second round, which was a telephonic round. After clearing the second round, they dragged another month to say that the position was no longer available. I wasted portions of 60 days of my life after thorough follow-up.
Finality
I received a candidate disposition email! Remember the promise they made? Yes, they failed to keep it. I followed up for a week, and all I got was a lame apology and some unacceptable business reasons for filling that position. I reached out to this company based on a survey released by LinkedIn, naming it the best place to work in the world, and it stood at 7th! But it is a lie! None of them picked up my call (thanks to Truecaller) after that disposition email, and I wasn't given a job description in any of my rounds.
Conclusion
Guys, Comcast (Chennai location) has a poor recruitment team who just visits the office to have their lunch. If you find yourself being dragged along, avoid them immediately, as they are a team of blobfish and dimwits. Choose them at the cost of your time and energy.
